COINPLUS is a Luxembourgish company created in 2014 providing crypto-currency investment services. Because we believe a regulation framework is key in the blockchain industry, COINPLUS has applied for a payment institution license from the CSSF. This application is still in progress.

The company is located in the Technoport incubator of Esch-Sur-Alzette and is registered under the RC number B0188785.

COINPLUS has filed a patent regarding its secure inscription process for cryptographic codes on physical supports.

Yves-Laurent Kayan is the Co-Founder of COINPLUS. He is in charge of the business development. Yves-Laurent is an entrepreneur at heart. For more than ten years, he has been involved in the development of several companies and projects. Yves-Laurent graduated from EDC Paris Business School, with a specialisation in the creation and management of SMEs. He also took the first part of an executive Development Programme at IMD Lausanne.

Christian Bodt

Christian has always been passionate about peer-to-peer technologies and has gained experience in the world of finance as a specialist in the Python development of grid computing applications. Christian discovered Bitcoin in 2010 and quickly became very interested in the concept, its economic impact and how it functions in detail. He started COINPLUS after meeting Yves-Laurent at the Paris bitcoin meetup group.

Benoit Bertholon

Benoit Bertholon joined COINPLUS as a Software Engineer in early 2014. Benoit was previously working at the University of Luxembourg as a Researcher (PhD). He graduated from ISEP as an Engineer and obtained a Master in “Secure and dependable computer System”, from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. Additionally, he received a PhD degree in computer science from the University of Luxembourg.
